Vietnam's NK team finished as runners-up at the FC Pro Champions Cup 2026, losing to T1 (Korea) in the grand final held at the DDP Showroom in Seoul on October 18. Captained by ThànhMan (Đỗ Trung Thành), NK accumulated 23 points in the group stage with a 6W-5D-4L record, which perfectly reconciles with the 3-1-0 points system. NK received USD 55,000 (approximately VND 1.4 billion) as runners-up prize. This is a significant achievement for Vietnamese esports, but the 'world championship' claim requires independent verification as the tournament's scope was largely limited to Asian teams. In the final, T1's jiffyjay, Crong, wonder08, and Hoseok delivered outstanding performances. NK's lineup included ThànhMan, LHAT (Lê Hà Anh Tuấn), Endyy (Nguyễn Duy Đông), and NamThi (Trần Hoài Nam). The tournament ran from October 13 to 18, featuring teams such as T1, Gen City, KT Rolster from Korea, along with Advice Esports (defending champion), Triple W, Made in Thailand, GaoTie Gaming, SCMJ (China), and TA Global (Vietnam). NK qualified for the event through the domestic FVPL Summer 2026 qualifier.
